ATP Chengdu 2025: Bets, Previews, and Streaming Info You Need to Know
It’s an exciting time for tennis fans as the ATP Chengdu 2025 draws near. This prestigious tournament will be held at the Sichuan International Tennis Center in Chengdu, a bustling Chinese metropolis known for its lively sports culture and love for tennis. Chengdu has been hosting the ATP since 2016, and over the years, it has become a favorite destination for both players and fans alike.
The highlight of the ATP Chengdu 2025 is the anticipated match between Thompson and Tabilo, which has been generating considerable buzz among enthusiasts and bettors. But before jumping into predictions and best bets, let’s take a closer look at some of the tournament’s key matches and contenders.
2025 Chengdu Open: Sonego vs. Cerundolo
The matchup between Italy’s Lorenzo Sonego, currently ranked 44th, and Argentina’s Juan Manuel Cerundolo, ranked 72nd, is one of the most eagerly anticipated games of the tournament. Despite Sonego’s recent losses, including a defeat at the US Open tennis championships, he is favored to win this match. Cerundolo, on the other hand, holds a record of five consecutive wins and recently won the Challenger title in Guangzhou.
However, one significant factor that might tip the scales in Sonego’s favor is his superior record on hard courts. While Cerundolo has just claimed a Challenger title on hard, he has a generally less successful track record on such surfaces. This may give Sonego the edge he needs to secure victory and make him a value bet for those considering a wager.
Thompson vs. Tabilo: A Close Match-Up
The match between Jordan Thompson and Alejandro Tabilo is set to be a thrilling one. Thompson, despite losing four of his last five matches, including a recent loss at the Davis Cup, is known for his fighting spirit and resilience. Tabilo, on the other hand, has been in excellent form with four wins in his last five matches, giving him momentum coming into this tournament. Given his recent performance and solid hard-court results, Tabilo winning could be considered a value bet for the event.
